New Convergys Wizard Release 7.6 Expands Service Providers' Ability To Manage New Product Launches More Effectively

The new version incorporates numerous enhancements that enable cable, satellite, and broadband service providers worldwide to support and track their customer premise equipment, care for their subscribers, and define bill time discount options more effectively.

With WIZARD Release 7.6, operators have the ability to support and manage more effectively the advanced set-top boxes and multimedia terminal adapters that allow their customers ready access to such next generation services as video-on-demand, gaming, Internet telephony, and interactive TV. Besides enabling operators to define and support a variety of equipment purchase methods (ranging from buying to renting, borrowing, or leasing), WIZARD Release 7.6 has enhanced capabilities for managing and tracking equipment associations and location identifiers.

Enhanced CRM features in WIZARD Release 7.6 allow service providers to capture and use key customer contact information better. The data can be used to ensure accurate and timely responses to subscriber inquiries and properly define product availability and discounts. Advanced scripting tools also are available to drive improved up-sell promotion results and help customer service representatives get quicker access to product information and important subscriber documents such as contracts, memos, and work orders.

WIZARD Release 7.6 also provides operators even greater flexibility in defining bill time discounts based on customer specific data, product codes, and demographic data information. Retroactive billing adds a new choice for the customer, while additional payment methods such as pre-pay, coupons, and bank transfer offer simpler options to encourage more timely account settlement.
