The recently
announced Documentum 5 redefines enterprise content management
by delivering a host of new capabilities. The new content
management platform allows for complete creation, management,
delivery and archival of content. Verity’s advanced search
technology addresses the challenges of finding an enterprise’s
mission-critical information. Documentum will leverage the power
of both solutions by embedding Verity’s search software in
Documentum 5, a move designed to increase employee productivity
and return-on-investment.
In addition, Verity’s Gateway to Documentum’s content
management application will optimize enterprise productivity by
providing immediate access to Documentum data. Other Verity
Gateways will allow users access to different content
repositories. Verity’s full support for security ensures that
users will not find or know about information they are not
authorized to access.
“Documentum 5 is the platform of choice for content-rich
applications. Verity’s search technology integrates easily
into our customers’ existing systems for fast and accurate
search results,” said Jay DeWalt, vice president of partner
management for Documentum. “Verity’s Gateway will provide
ease-of-integration for our joint customers. We look forward to
continually working with Verity to enhance our customers’
e-business solutions.”
“Verity is pleased to extend our long-standing relationship
with Documentum to support their latest offering,” said Mike
Zuckerman, Verity’s vice president of marketing. “Our
powerful joint solution is being used by many Global 2000
companies. We believe that our joint customers will continue to
benefit from Verity’s advanced search technology and from
Documentum’s latest enterprise content management platform.”
